The Yucai Community Committee for the Care of the Next Generation, under the precise guidance of the Qingshan District Committee and the Wanc青ng Road Office Committee, takes community building as its core and aims to improve the overall quality of young people. Actively developing various tasks of the Committee while vigorously coordinating with units in the area to share resources. Guided by the important thought of "Three Represents", according to the actual situation of the community itself, an annual work plan is formulated each year, aiming to achieve all tasks of the Committee. Through our community's relentless efforts, we have achieved significant success in our overall work. Below is a report on the work situation:
1. Continuously strengthening learning and reinforcing the construction of the care committee organization
The leadership team of the Community Committee first takes theoretical knowledge learning as its starting point. Through studying the important thought of "Three Represents" and various policies and documents concerning the next generation, they continuously enrich their cultural quality, enhance their understanding of the Committee's work, and further broaden their work perspective. On the other hand, while continuously learning, the Committee also delves into the jurisdiction to understand the situation, grasp the first-hand materials, actively carry out work, strengthen the cohesion of the overall leadership team, and seek strength.
2. Highlighting priorities and carrying out theme educational activities
Patriotic education is our main theme. This year, coinciding with the grand celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up, we took this opportunity to actively participate in the poetry recitation and storytelling competition organized by the Wanc青ng Office Committee with the theme of "My Country in My Heart", where student Zhang Jiaoyang from our community achieved good results. Our community held a summer evening cultural performance on August 8, 2010, with the theme of "Welcoming the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Country and Building a Harmonious and Safe Community."
