Foshan News (Reporters Yang Bo and Pang Xiao Ming) - Mr. Liang, a motorcycle taxi driver, never expected to discover such a scene in the bushes: next to a rusted and deformed black car were a male and female victim. Due to severe mosquito bites, the woman's face had become somewhat deformed... Even more astonishingly, after doctors examined the two victims, they discovered that they had not eaten or drunk anything for six days but had still survived, creating a miracle of life. When the fire personnel arrived at the scene, they suspected that there were two more people missing from the car, but no one was found after a thorough search.

After the accident, the two were "thrown" into the grass

According to the on-site fire personnel, at 3:25 PM yesterday afternoon when they arrived at the scene, they found that the entire car was hidden in the bushes, very concealed. A frail woman in her twenties lay in a small pit about 3 meters away from the car, with one foot covered by the grass. She could neither speak nor move. About 6 meters away from the car, they also found a young man lying in a ditch, his feet soaked white by the water in the ditch. His body was covered with red spots from mosquito bites, and his condition appeared worse than the woman's; only his eyes could blink.

The fire personnel said: "We heard that there were four people in the car at the time of the incident, so we immediately started searching." Twenty fire personnel then carried out a thorough search over an area of two to three hundred square meters. After an hour, no one else was found. They estimated that the car’s speed at the time of the accident was at least 100 kilometers per hour. It first crashed off the bridge and then flew into the bushes.

At the scene, reporters saw that above the incident site was the lead-in bridge of the Guangzhou-Sanshui Expressway. The iron guardrail of the bridge had been broken for six to seven meters. Below the bridge was a patch of reeds with clear signs of where the car had crashed through. The distance from where the guardrail was broken to the position of the incident car was approximately 50 meters. The exact time of the accident is still unclear.

The girl had been missing for 6 days with her phone constantly unreachable

Afterwards, the male and female victims were sent to the Sanshui District People's Hospital. According to the attending doctor in the emergency department, both victims were severely dehydrated at the time of rescue, with obvious rashes from mosquito bites. Upon examination, it was found that the female victim had a thigh bone fracture, while the male had brain damage, cerebral contusion, and concussion. After extensive fluid replacement and comprehensive examinations, their vital signs were temporarily stable.

At the hospital, reporters saw that the female's relatives were waiting outside the CT examination room. The relatives stated that the female was from Sanshui and had been missing for several days with her phone always turned off.

The father of the female victim indicated that the male was the girl's friend. The girl had been missing for 6 days, and the two had not eaten or drunk anything for 6 days. The attending doctor remarked that the two had survived for 6 days without food or drink inside the car, which could already be considered a miracle of life.
