Aaron Kwok: Talking nonsense, actually I don't remember such a long time (laugh), but I think life always has its ups and downs, once it's over, it's better to no longer care about it. I believe my experience is not available to everyone.

Aaron Kwok: I have never thought about if I did not pursue acting career, which occupation would I choose. I have never regarded acting as my career either. I really like acting and enjoy the process of acting very much. When I perform successfully, I feel very proud and honored; when I fail, I will be a little disappointed, but if I think that I have learned something or got some enlightenment during the process of acting, I will be satisfied and happy as well. If time could flow backward and I had another chance to choose my career, I would still want to be an actor.

Aaron Kwok: Black Rose. Because I also tried comedy for the first time and the result was very good and successful. The actors who played opposite roles to me in "92 Black Rose vs Black Rose" were all very good actors. We made new creations together, and every performance would spark off fireworks.

Aaron Kwok: The director wanted this character to be a relatively cold-blooded person, selfish and regardless of others' feelings. I think that a chief inspector whose property could reach hundreds of millions should be a very spectacular person in both black and white forces. There is a kind of domineering air on this person. His identity is different from that in "Tracking", one is a policeman and the other is a thief boss.

Aaron Kwok: Many people like to portray themselves as certain types of actors and shoot what kind of movies, in this aspect, I am really not too obsessed. On the contrary, I am the type of actor who relies heavily on directors. If a script can give me sufficient hints to do so, I think it is a very good thing for me. In the past ten years, many scripts actually require actors to make creative performances, this is a phenomenon. Even many directors rely on actors themselves. They will ask what the actors can offer and let them show it. But looking at myself, I seem not to be such an actor. I am the type of actor who relies heavily on scripts. I admit that my creativity is not high. I would rather have a good script and just respond according to that script.

Aaron Kwok: Some actors don't like to play villains. I am a person who likes to challenge myself. I don't want to stay in one role forever, or be stereotyped in the same type of role. I hope for more changes. Actors need to shape various characters' images. When I choose scripts, I mainly focus on not repeating the roles I have played before.

I have never regarded acting as my own career

Aaron Kwok: I don't think there is any hierarchy, Wong Jing can shoot "Empire of Silver" under such conditions, which shows that he has his own market. Many actors think they should require their performance level to be getting higher and higher, but I would ask, when you reach a high position, does it mean that you can only do Shakespearean plays? Since I regard myself as a movie actor, there is no hierarchy in movies for me. On the contrary, it needs to cater to different audiences.
