Hefei Daily reported that on the morning of June 17, police officers from the Xinzhai Brigade of the Hefei Public Security Bureau's Traffic Police Detachment were on duty at the intersection of Shengli Road and Fengyang Road when they noticed an unlicensed black Audi driving in the non-motorized vehicle lane from west to east. When the police legally checked the driver's license and vehicle registration certificate, Xia Mou (male, born in 1972, currently residing in Hefei Xinzhai District) took out a license plate with the number粤BMU038 from the trunk. After checking, the traffic police found that the license plate matched the relevant information of the car, so they legally penalized him for two violations: not hanging the license plate as required and not driving in the motor vehicle lane. Xia Mou resisted and attempted to forcibly take back his driver's license from traffic police officer Yang Mou. While Officer Yang was trying to dissuade his behavior, he was attacked by Xia Mou, resulting in a粉碎性骨折of Officer Yang's nasal bone. That afternoon, the violent driver Xia Mou was criminally detained by the Hefei police according to law. (He Gong Xin, Hua Xin Hong)
