The Life-and-Death Love of Leftover Women

I am a blade of grass,
Without the fragrance of flowers, without the height of trees.
I am an obscure blade of grass,
I don't consider myself towering, like in "Dandelion's Love" where roots say, “This journey will be long and hard,” and leaves ask, “Will this journey be sorrowful?” Neither do I consider myself insignificant.
I have my own life, I know who I am, I have my own preferences.
I've never harmed anyone, nor do I have anything to boast about.
So, I don't want others to look up to me, as in "The Rooster's Declaration," nor do I want to be looked down upon.
If you think you are a mighty tree and I am just a blade of grass,
Then we cannot walk the same path.
I am a blade of grass.
If you have ever given me sunlight,
Then I will surely nod and smile at you.
If you give me storms,
Then I will also resist and roar.
I am a blade of grass,
Though humble, I am not insignificant.
