[Autohome Wuhan News] If you commit a traffic violation while driving in another place, you have to go back to the place where the violation occurred to pay the fine, which is extremely inconvenient. Recently, the Provincial Public Security Department revealed in its reply to a proposal by a provincial CPPCC member that a province-wide network system for paying traffic violation fines in different places will be established within this year, enabling online payment of fines across the province.
At the "two sessions" held at the beginning of this year, CPPCC member Fu Gang mentioned in his proposal that he drove to Huangmei and Yichang for a trip last year and committed two minor violations due to unfamiliarity with the road conditions, resulting in a fine of 100 yuan each time according to online inquiries. In order to pay these 200 yuan in fines, he specially drove back to Huangmei and Yichang, consuming a lot of time and energy.
It is understood that currently, the province's traffic violation information has been networked, and car owners can check it anytime at the traffic police station, the vehicle management office hall, or the traffic violation penalty proxy point in various places. However, the out-of-town fine system has not been established yet, mainly due to two reasons: one is to protect citizens' privacy and information security, and the other is that it is troublesome to establish a powerful database that meets the requirements.
