It is understood that, since August 26th, Yaoshan has severely reformed the illegal construction in its jurisdiction. Up to today, they have demolished 295,000 square meters of unauthorized buildings. Among them, together with the Urban Management Bureau and the Land Bureau of Tiangiao District, they forcibly demolished 15 places of illegal construction near Yellow River Bridge, Yangjuan Residential Area, Wanglu Residential Area, and Lu Zhuang Residential Area, which covered 13,000 square meters in total. As a result, more than 50 mu (Chinese acre) of land used illegally were "rescued". Besides, 8 other places of illegal construction which covered 10,500 square meters were demolished within the deadline.
