II. Data Center Introduction
1. XiKuan Universiade Data Center
The XiKuan Universiade Data Center is located in the University Science and Technology Park in Jinan, the provincial capital of Shandong Province, and is one of the largest IDC service providers in Shandong Province. The total building area of the data center is nearly 300 square meters. The XiKuan Universiade Data Center was built to high standards and specifications as required by the Universiade, fully considering the needs of the Universiade events and reserving space for use by enterprises, institutions, e-commerce companies, and other social users. During the Universiade, it successfully completed the network support services for the Universiade events, including data collection. After the Universiade ended and it was opened to the public, many well-known enterprises and institutions have been attracted to move in.
1) Building Facilities
The interior decoration uses dust-proof and flame-retardant materials; the floor is an anti-static floor, and the walls are coated with anti-static paint; the entire building can withstand an earthquake of magnitude eight, and each square meter of the ground can bear a weight of 800 kilograms. The data center and monitoring room are separated by 12mm thick clear glass, with complete curtain wall and monitoring equipment.
2) Network Resources
Each 3.5G export bandwidth from Unicom and Telecom. The data center is directly connected to Unicom and Telecom without intermediate nodes, with a network connectivity rate of up to 99.6%. The main equipment and lines adopt redundant design to ensure uninterrupted network services in case of line failure.
3) Power Supply Guarantee
The data center uses Class I municipal power supply with dual-line access (one line is a backup line). In addition, there are batteries with sufficient capacity and large-power diesel generators to ensure the stability of the circuit.
4) Air Conditioning System
A dedicated data center air conditioning system precisely controls the temperature and humidity of the data center space, providing the best operating conditions for the customer's network system, ensuring that the IDC data center maintains a constant temperature of 23±2℃ and a constant humidity of 45%.
5) Fire Safety
The data center is equipped with a professional data center monitoring system. In the monitoring room, all locations in the data center can be viewed in detail and in real-time through the monitoring system, ensuring real-time knowledge of the situation inside the data center.
The data center is equipped with dry powder fire extinguishers, highly sensitive ion smoke detectors, alarm systems, and temperature detection alarm systems, which can ensure the discovery of fire hazards and immediate firefighting in the first place.
6) Access Control System
Password + IC card access control system verifies the identity of entering personnel doubly, preventing unauthorized personnel from entering and maximizing the protection of user machine security and privacy.
2. Beijing BGP Data Center
In 2004, the earliest BGP dual-line data center in Beijing was built domestically. The network export reaches up to 6G, with 3G each from Unicom and Telecom, forming a standard symmetric dual line. To date, the proportion of high-end user groups, mainly consisting of government and enterprise units, among the served customers is as high as 60%.
1) Basic Environment
Provides standard racks for placing servers and ancillary equipment; provides dual power supply, intelligent UPS, and diesel generators; provides a safe and stable environment with a network connectivity rate of up to 99.9%; provides advanced monitoring and fire protection systems.
2) Network System
By using the BGP method to achieve direct connection to mainstream operator network resources such as Telecom and Unicom, dynamic routing technology allows higher speed and judgment rate for north-south access, with fiber optic link backup, achieving redundancy at the INTERNET export, allowing network access from all over the country to maintain high speed.
3) Data Center Construction
The data center adopts load-bearing structural design, with a floor load limit of 1200Kg/square meter, allowing users to place some special equipment. The data center provides steel standard racks (rack width 19 inches, height 2.4 meters).
4) Ventilation Facilities
The data center uses multiple air conditioners combined with side delivery and duct delivery to make the indoor temperature and humidity as evenly distributed as possible. Data center temperature: 18~26 degrees Celsius, relative humidity: 30%~70%.
