Nike and Foot Locker's House of Hoops are paying tribute to the legendary daredevil Evel Knievel with a pair of special Nike shoes inspired by Evel’s signature red, white, and blue stunt suit. A row of stars is stitched onto the heel as well, echoing the design of Evel’s suit. For those who don’t know, Evel Knievel passed away on November 30th, 2007, after suffering from diabetes and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis for several years.
