The State Administration for Industry and Commerce officially announced the Interim Measures for the Administration of Online Commodity Trading and Related Service Activities yesterday, which will be implemented on July 1st.
According to the measures, natural persons who engage in online commodity trading and related services must apply to the operator providing the online trading platform service and submit their real identity information such as name and address. In view of the particularity of online transactions, the industry and commerce department will spend three years to establish a unified national supervision platform.
