The Financial Times of the UK released yesterday morning the ranking of the world's top 500 companies, and China National Petroleum Corporation (PetroChina) has surpassed ExxonMobil of the US for the first time to become the enterprise with the largest market capitalization in the world. Three Chinese enterprises are among the top 10. This is the fourteenth annual ranking of the Financial Times Global 500, and also the first time a Chinese company stands at the top of the rankings.
