Continuing the success of the first series of "Forensic Heroes," this second installment focuses on the core team of forensic experts, pathologists, and police elites known as the "Crime-fighting Iron Triangle." With a tightly woven plot and rich visual effects, they investigate crimes and catch criminals, inspiring audiences.
Senior Forensic Lab Technician Ian Yuen, along with unconventional pathologist and novelist Tak Chun, collaborate with Narcotics Bureau Inspector Kwok Ying, bomb disposal expert Yat Shing, criminal psychologist Siu Yu, and other police elites. Using the most advanced forensic techniques, logical reasoning, and medical expertise, they unravel complex cases, repeatedly verifying evidence, determined to uphold the rule of law in society and outwit high-intelligence criminals, striving for their ideal of "following science to achieve justice."
Jamie Chung, Man Lok Wan, and Dan Dan Chen recently filmed a rooftop-jumping scene for "Forensic Heroes II." In the plot, Dan Dan plays an antagonist who falls off a building with officer Man Lok Wan. Due to a back injury, Man Lok Wan could not perform the stunt himself and used a stunt double, just like Dan Dan. Man Lok Wan said, "I injured my back while rehearsing action scenes, so I had to use a stunt double. (Are you afraid of heights?) A little bit, but I’m not scared after riding roller coasters. However, I get scared on pirate ships. When we moved house, looking down from the top floor made me feel really scared!" Dan Dan added, "I'm not too afraid, but I've never hung outside a building before. After the stunt double finished filming, we still needed to add some actions ourselves, which was quite challenging."
Jamie Chung revealed that there were many action scenes in the drama, and she even injured her hand. Regarding the recent Christmas break, Jamie Chung did not take a holiday: "Everyone else took a break, but I worked ten times harder. However, I didn’t have to work at night and celebrated with friends at home."
Norman Chu and Jamie Chung are good friends and found great chemistry working together this time.
Christy Chung and Sau Yan Kwok play police officers and look more stylish in their camouflage uniforms.
