Sweet Life Plot Introduction: Seon-woo (played by Lee Byung-hun) is a cold-blooded and self-disciplined man. In Episode 07 of the Korean drama Sweet Life, Seon-woo's strong loyalty and exceptional abilities in handling affairs earned him the trust and appreciation of the head of the criminal organization, Mr. Kang (played by Kim Yeong-chul). As a result, he was given the management rights to a hotel located in Seoul. His life seemed sweet and beautiful, but this sweetness and beauty were very short-lived. Seon-woo received a very difficult task - to monitor Mr. Kang’s young and beautiful mistress, Hee-soo (played by Shin Min-a), while the boss was away on business.
Just on the third day of keeping an eye on Hee-soo, Seon-woo discovered that she was having an affair with another man. According to the boss's requirements or perhaps following his usual principles, Seon-woo should have dealt with Hee-soo immediately. However, for reasons unknown, a sense of compassion arose within him, and he decided to let her go.
From that day forward, both Seon-woo and Hee-soo began experiencing continuous misfortunes. First, they were captured by another organization and brutally beaten. Then, Mr. Kang abandoned them, wanting them dead. After enduring severe beatings and even being buried alive in the rain, Seon-woo managed to escape death repeatedly. Eventually, he decided to fight back, rising up against the entire criminal group...
