"Originally in Love with a Thief" Episode Synopsis - Episode 6
Jiang Yang investigates Gao Zhe's background and learns that his cousin Tan Bin, a computer genius from MIT, was expelled only because he stole exam papers. He also finds out that Gao Zhe plans to steal the blood diamond from Ying Jie. Gao Zhe successfully infiltrates Ying Jie’s hotel room in Zhuhai but accidentally has his plan disrupted by Ying Jie at the last moment.
Gao Zhe realizes that the hotel room is under surveillance by Da Hai and Anna. At this time, someone knocks on the door. When Gao Zhe opens it, he surprisingly finds Rongrong and her son.
It turns out that Rongrong and her son were supposed to meet Ying Jie but mistakenly entered the wrong hotel room. Guan Ren locks Da Hai and Anna in the hotel room so everyone can lay out the plan to steal the blood diamond. In the hotel lobby, Gao Zhe uses a scheme to send away Rongrong and her son. Just as Ming Xiang and Xi Shan attempt to steal the blood diamond from Ying Jie, an alarm suddenly sounds, disrupting their plan. Under his influence, both siblings developed a strong sense of justice, committed to fighting injustice and determined to punish evil. Therefore, after completing her engineering degree at university, Qiao joined a security company, utilizing her strengths and becoming its director.
Qiao has been brought up with a clear sense of black and white, adhering strongly to principles. However, fate brings her face-to-face with the rebellious computer prodigy Tan Bin. During a security operation, Qiao mistakenly thought Bin was a thief, leading to a conflict between them. Yet, they unexpectedly become friends upon discovering their shared interests.
Thanks to Bin's help in resolving a hacker attack on the security system, Qiao discovers that Bin is indeed a computer genius, which increases her admiration for him. Facing Bin's many ingenious ideas, Qiao often experiences surprises in life. Sharing common interests, they get along very well, transitioning from quarrels to inadvertently falling in love.
