Shi Jiajia (Zhong Jiaxin), who lost her mother at a young age and has rebellious characteristics, discovers her mother's ashes have vanished during a tomb-sweeping day. After frantic searching, she finally finds them in the stone factory of the overweight boss, Cheng Jinshi (Zheng Zeshi). Her filial piety leaves a good impression on Jinshi and his apprentice, Cheng Rian (Ma Junwei). Rian often helps Jia out of difficult situations and even introduces her to work at his sister Cheng Meixin's (Chen Fala) company. Jia is grateful and admires Rian but feels unworthy of him, so she doesn't dare to express her feelings. It isn't until Jinshi falls ill and Jia serves as Rian's temporary coach for a marathon that they finally get the chance to reveal their feelings for each other.
