Korean actor Jung Joon-ho lent his voice for the MBC drama "My Last Scandal," singing the song "Promise" from the Original Soundtrack (OST) album.
This is not the first time Jung Joon-ho has sung for a project he's starred in. In previous TV dramas such as "Princess Lulu" and the movie "The Gymnastics Boy and Mom," he sang theme songs or insert songs, showcasing his vocal talent. Besides the song "Promise" sung by Jung Joon-ho, the OST album of "My Last Scandal" also includes classic Korean love songs like "Will Love Come?" which have already attracted much attention from fans even before its official release.
"The Last Scandal" was created by writer Moon Hee-jeong and director Lee Tae-gon. It tells the story of an ordinary housewife who accidentally reunites with her first love and rediscovers the feeling of love amidst arguments and disputes.
Choi Jin-sil will play a single mother while Jung Joon-ho will portray Choi Jin-sil's first love who has become a top star. Choi Jin-sil had not appeared on screen for nearly eight months before taking on "The Last Scandal," and Jung Joon-ho's last screen work was the 2005 drama "Princess Lulu." Therefore, their joint comeback garnered attention for "The Last Scandal."
The KBS weekend drama "My Last Scandal" starring Choi Jin-sil, Jung Joon-ho, and others has set new highs in viewership ratings, and it is expected to surpass its competitor "King Sejong" airing at the same time in the near future.
According to data from the viewership rating survey company TNS Media Korea, the sixth episode of "My Last Scandal" aired on the 23rd achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 14.5%, setting its highest record since its premiere on the 8th.
In contrast to the new high in viewership ratings of "My Last Scandal," "King Sejong's" ratings have stagnated for several weeks, hovering around 17%.
As "My Last Scandal" sets new records, when it will surpass "King Sejong" has become a focal point of public attention.
