The story begins with a certain type of girl found all over Asia, called the "sticky note girl." She is plain, simple, content, and her wishes are small. She has never been anyone special, nor does she expect to become someone special. Her function may be small, but she is indispensable, like a sticky note that can be torn off and used at any time. She may not be noticeable or extraordinary, but there will always be someone like her around you! A "luxury cruise" trip brings such an ordinary girl into the most extraordinary encounter.

Xinyi has always been afraid of others disliking her since she was young, so she has always tried hard to be good to others. Whenever someone gives her even a little bit of response, she easily falls for them. Everyone calls her the "sticky note girl" because when someone needs her, they just tear her off and use her, and when they don't need her, they throw her away carelessly. But she is actually a sentimental fool. Her lack of strength makes her hesitate when she should make decisions. One day, in order to win back her womanizing boyfriend Gucci, she spends a large amount of travel expenses on a love boat tour. Unexpectedly, she walks into the wrong room by mistake, and wakes up to find herself having had a one-night stand with a stranger. Then, she discovers that her boyfriend Gucci has been unfaithful, hooking up with a rich widow and leaving her behind, which is a shocking blow to her.

A month later, when Xinyi sees the result of the pregnancy test, she regrets not jumping off the ship. A 25-year-old law firm clerk, burdened with 200,000 yuan in debt due to a lousy boyfriend, and now pregnant with a child from an unknown man, it's simply the most ironic joke in the world. She takes a week off from work and prepares to return to her hometown, "Ginger Island," to think about what to do next.

That night's stranger is named Ji Cunxi. He is the ideal prince charming that every girl dreams of—rich, handsome, and talented. When he meets the ordinary office worker girl Chen Xinyi, no one knows if it's the start of trouble or the beginning of happiness.

Due to a genetic issue in Ji's family, each generation has seen a decline in male offspring. Up until now, nine generations have passed down a single male line. This makes the elder grandmother Pearl sleep uneasily every day, fearing that this tiny spark might accidentally go out! The grandmother hopes that her grandson Ji Cunxi can be like other playboy entrepreneurs and sow his wild oats everywhere. However, this grandson remains clean and self-disciplined. One day, the grandmother accidentally discovers that Xinyi is carrying Cunxi's child. Perhaps it's the blessing of the ancestors of the Ji family; unexpectedly, heaven has truly bestowed upon her a 'little golden grandson,' making the grandmother insist that Cunxi marry Xinyi. This way, when she eventually passes away, she will have the face to meet the ancestors of the Ji family.

Thus, the grandmother uses the threat of revealing gossip about Cunxi's three-year relationship with his girlfriend to force Cunxi to marry Xinyi, completing her wish while she is still alive. However, Cunxi finds himself unable to face the reality of marriage and cannot decide whether to flee at the last moment or to bravely take responsibility for the consequences. At this point, they suddenly discover that under the grandmother's request, they must start dating and fall in love.

In fact, Cunxi also has a girlfriend named ANNA, a ballet dancer with whom he has been in a relationship for three years. During this period, despite numerous romantic proposals, ANNA has repeatedly turned him down gently. Yet, Cunxi has silently waited, waiting for ANNA to let go of everything and accept his proposal. ANNA refuses marriage for her career, while at this moment, Cunxi unintentionally gets Xinyi pregnant. Fortunately, ANNA is on an international tour, allowing Cunxi to hide this blunder. However, Cunxi secretly signs a prenuptial agreement with Xinyi without the grandmother's knowledge, stating that after giving birth, they will divorce. Cunxi promises to give Xinyi a sum of money, then they will part ways without owing each other anything. Xinyi, thinking about the future of the child in her belly, seriously considers and agrees. Cunxi's plan is that once Xinyi gives birth to the child, ANNA will finish her tour and return home, at which point their contractual relationship will expire, allowing him to reunite with ANNA.

Unaware of the situation, Xinyi moves into Cunxi's house and starts learning how to get along with Cunxi. As two strangers transition from discomfort to becoming accustomed to each other's presence, it is a very subtle evolution. Originally believing that they would live under the same roof without much interaction, they gradually develop connections through many daily trivial matters. Under the grandmother's request, Xinyi moves into Cunxi's bedroom, prompting Cunxi to move to the guest room to sleep. However, he soon realizes he doesn't like sleeping alone anymore. Late at night, Cunxi always returns to the original room, and over time, having someone beside him while sleeping becomes a habit. Cunxi, who used to dislike coming home for meals, begins eating at home. And Cunxi, who vowed never to help with anything, starts picking out wallpapers for the nursery and toys for the child.

When everything seems to be perfect happiness, the hidden bombshell, ANNA, appears. Cunxi never expected that his unclear relationship with ANNA would hurt Xinyi. Leaving behind only a divorce agreement, he disappears without a trace. Thinking that this ending is the best conclusion, Xinyi has unknowingly taken root in his heart. He vows that if he finds Xinyi again, he will definitely pursue her anew, no longer as the father of the child to the mother of the child, but as a man pursuing a woman...

Episode 1

Today, Chen Xinyi, an ordinary office lady, repeats her daily routine of being at everyone's beck and call, handling various errands. In the eyes of others, the ordinary Chen Xinyi is plain, content, and simple. Her small desk, small wishes, and small functions make her readily available, summoned and dismissed at will, like a sticky note that can be torn off and used anytime.

Deep down, Xinyi yearns for a day when she can be like Cinderella, despite being ordinary and mistreated, still be noticed by her destined prince. This day, in order to save the love she has waited for so long, Xinyi joins her boyfriend Gucci, whom she believes to be her destined partner, on a two-day romantic luxury cruise.

Ji Cunxi, the president of a group with nine generations of single male lineage, bears the heavy responsibility of continuing the family's legacy. However, to support his ballet star girlfriend Anna's dream of fame worldwide, his failed marriage proposals have already counted countless times. And this time, he splurges heavily, meticulously planning to propose to Anna again during this romantic luxury cruise.

Ji Cunxi and Chen Xinyi, two strangers whose lives were originally impossible to intersect, carry their own hopes for this romantic journey. However, they are mistakenly caught in a farcical trap involving a staged seduction. Xinyi sees through Gucci, and Cunxi fails to propose to Anna! A series of mishaps lead everyone to mistakenly believe that Xinyi is the Anna Cunxi intended to propose to. Thus, the crew and guests follow the original plan, urging Cunxi to propose publicly, aiming to bring a perfect conclusion to this romantic luxury cruise.

Faced with the breathtaking sea view at night, dazzling fireworks, and the anticipation of the crowd, they are caught in a dilemma: should they act out this charade of a successful proposal as everyone expects...
