LOWES uses humorously quirky characters, light-hearted and funny dialogues, and a climax-filled plot in Episode 12 of "It Turns Out I'm Not Handsome." It tells the story of a boy who has always thought he was handsome since childhood but realizes in college that he isn't. After receiving a "good person card" from his crush, the school beauty, he suffers the tragic blow of realizing "indeed, I'm not handsome." This leads to a series of hilarious stories that make netizens laugh until they cry, with some even jokingly claiming they might have a heart attack halfway through and need to be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment...

Since as far back as he can remember, Xiao Zhuang has always considered himself a handsome guy. This belief wasn't baseless. From childhood to adulthood, whether it's relatives, elders, or the auntie at the snack stall, the questionnaire-filling sisters, the ticket-scalping aunties, or classmates borrowing notes, everyone would sincerely call him "handsome," so naturally, he believed he was one...

The ones who woke Xiao Zhuang up from his dream of being a handsome guy were his two classmates and best friends, Si Si — a whimsical roommate full of humor, and as the vice president of the pigeon racing club, Si Si claims that "Old Wang the Pigeon" is his only confidant! And Kang — a self-proclaimed playboy and founder/president of the pigeon research club. Having been in a few relationships, Kang loves to act as Xiao Zhuang's love analyst, but what drives Xiao Zhuang crazy is that following Kang's advice never seems to work out!

Actually, Xiao Zhuang and Cindy's connection goes way back. Even before they entered university, they had an imperfect encounter. For Cindy, Xiao Zhuang even joined the food club. Driven by all his courage, Xiao Zhuang confessed his feelings to Cindy, only to hear her coolly respond with a simple "no." Feeling as if he'd been shot in the chest, Xiao Zhuang struggled to rise from the bloodstain, using his last bit of strength to ask why? Cindy looked at Xiao Zhuang and said, "Because you're too ugly." At that moment, Xiao Zhuang felt like he'd been shot again...

Cindy and Xiao Zhuang's complicated love story becomes even more tangled with the addition of the beautiful Qiao Ping into the triangle. With Si Si now dating the quirky female Pin Xuan and unable to help Xiao Zhuang, and Kang encountering the hardest love triangle of his life, unable to assist either, the three find themselves simultaneously stuck in a "love crisis." Thus, these three brothers-in-arms weave a super romantic campus comedy filled with laughter through tears and exhaustion.

The third idol drama collaboration between SET Taiwan and Formosa TV, "It Turns Out I'm Not Handsome," is currently in intensive production. In one scene, JJ Lin and Karry Wang wash dishes madly in the kitchen to learn cooking skills. They washed nearly a hundred plates in one afternoon. Although wearing gloves, their hands were still frozen stiff from being immersed in water for too long.

In reality, whether it's because JJ Lin was too nervous to face Karry Wang's beauty directly or because of his poor culinary skills, he poured almost a third of the dish soap bottle, causing bubbles to fly everywhere in the kitchen. Not only did all the staff suffer from swallowing bubbles, but even the restaurant owner who lent out the kitchen laughed and said, "Consider it a big kitchen cleaning!" JJ Lin apologized awkwardly, saying, "I rarely cook!" Others teased him, saying, "Probably because your other half usually handles the dishes!" which made him blush even more and unable to speak.

Karry Wang, who plays the leading role in "It Turns Out I'm Not Handsome" for the first time, just won the Best Supporting Actress award at the Golden Horse Awards for "Secret." When asked if she was confident, Karry Wang humbly said, "All the other nominees are seniors; just being nominated is already the greatest affirmation for me!"

In "Secret," Karry Wang pines for Jay Chou, which is very different from her role as a man-eater in "It Turns Out I'm Not Handsome." In real life, the spirited Karry Wang rarely experiences unrequited or secret love.
