At 11 PM on the 13th, the first episode of M TV drama "Special Inspector" was aired. According to TNS ratings survey company statistics, the viewership record was 1.7%. However, compared to OCN TV station's dramas, this is relatively high. Even though it was the first episode, the instant viewership reached up to 2.43%, making people anticipate future ratings.
In October 2005, M TV station first broadcasted "Special Inspector" as a Mid-Autumn Festival special program, but due to poor ratings, it was discontinued after airing up to Episode 6 in January last year.
At that time, many viewers opposed the discontinuation, and as a result, it was rebroadcast two years later. Although the main actors were changed to Moon Joo-wan, Park Hyo-joo, and Yoo Seung-ho, the production team remained the same, thus making fans who were looking forward to the revival of "Special Inspector" even happier.
Although the initial viewership of "Special Inspector" was not high, it was evaluated as achieving "half success."
On the 29th, M TV station announced: "Before the completion of 'Special Inspector,' it can enter overseas markets. Starting from January next year, it will be aired on Vietnamese TV stations for audiences to watch. It has signed contracts at the same sales price as other TV dramas, and currently, it has received positive feedback in the U.S., Japan, and other places."
Additionally, among cable channel programs, "Special Inspector" is the only one with viewership exceeding 3%. According to TNS ratings survey company statistics, the average viewership record for Episodes 5 and 6 of "Special Inspector," which aired on the 27th, was 3.2%, indicating its immense popularity.
