After her husband disappears following a business bankruptcy, leaving her mother-in-law and sister-in-law to deal with, Mrs. Sun-hee has to work part-time jobs to support her family. In the midst of her toughest time in life, she doesn't lose hope but faces it bravely. During this period, she encounters her first love, Zhang Dongzhe, who is now going by the alias Song Jae-bin. However, Jae-bin pretends not to recognize her due to her no longer being as beautiful as before, which angers Sun-hee. The smart Sun-hee then devises ways to harass Jae-bin, thus beginning her last romantic story...

This is a drama specially made for middle-aged women. At the age of thirty-nine, neither old nor young, even the most expensive cosmetics can't stop wrinkles from creeping into the corners of her eyes. Only her heart remains at nineteen, yearning for romantic love. Reuniting with her first love? It's an event that stirs up excitement just thinking about it. The content of this drama transcends reality or fantasy, making the audience laugh after watching. In the drama, Cinderella is a thirty-nine-year-old woman dragging her children, but in reality, middle-aged women indeed possess charm surpassing youth.

Middle-aged women, no longer young but possessing wisdom, sacrifice for their families and rarely take care of themselves, which is true love; knowing humility and gratitude, how could they not be beautiful? This drama will tell women that even at forty, even at fifty, they are still beautiful because they are women!

South Korean actor Jung Joon-ho contributed his voice to the OST of the MBC drama "My Last Scandal" that he starred in, singing "Promise." This isn't the first time Jung Joon-ho has sung for a project he's acted in; he previously sang theme songs or interludes in dramas like "Princess Lulu" and the movie "Seorabeong Contestant and Mom," showcasing his vocal talents. Besides Jung Joon-ho's "Promise," the OST album of "My Last Scandal" also includes classic Korean love songs such as "Will Love Come?" attracting many fans' attention even before its release.

"The Last Scandal" was created by writer Moon Hee-jeong and director Lee Tae-kun. It tells the story of an ordinary housewife who accidentally reunites with her first love and regains feelings of love amidst arguments and disputes. Choi Jin-sil plays a single mother while Jung Joon-ho portrays Choi Jin-sil's first love turned top star. Choi Jin-sil hadn't appeared on screen for nearly eight months before "The Last Scandal," and Jung Joon-ho's last screen work was "Princess Lulu" in 2005. Their joint return has drawn attention to "The Last Scandal."
