Episode 1:
Ling Jiaen, who has never been in love and harbors romantic fantasies about it, misunderstands You Zhiying, a lifeguard, as stealing her drink when she returns to her pet shop with her dog Jack. Don, who dreams of becoming rich through business, meets Sasa, a comic artist, over a bottle of drink. En receives news that her neighbor Lai Xi attempted suicide after being fired. En discovers that Ying accompanies Xi, who was eventually saved by Ying's unconventional methods. However, this act incurs the disapproval of En's retired police chief father, Zhaojia. Episode 2:
After recording statements at the police station, En develops feelings for Ying. Sasa encounters Don again and learns that he is selling leftover inventory online, which leads to accusations of copyright infringement and a demand for 400,000 in compensation.
