Story Synopsis:
Set against the backdrop of Hong Kong's chaotic police force in the 1950s, "Love in the Days of Storms" tells the story of the protagonist (played by Annie Liu) who experiences two unforgettable and heart-wrenching romances. The plot is filled with dramatic twists and emotional intensity.
Orphan Lin Qing'er sacrifices herself to save her father from trouble, enduring abuse at the hands of corrupt policemen and gang leaders. Fortunately, she is rescued by her good friend Zhang Chuwen (Raymond Lam), who risks his life to help her. The two escape to Hong Kong, but Chuwen is unfortunately arrested by the police. Qing'er promises to wait for him, only to receive the devastating news that Chuwen has died in prison.
Grieving deeply, Qing'er must face the future alone. She meets Detective Luo Jun (Frankie Ng), a righteous and incorruptible officer. When Luo Jun and his subordinate Zhou Tiexiu (Vincent Wei) clash with Chief Inspector Hong Kun, Qing'er is kidnapped as leverage. Luo Jun bravely rescues her, deepening their bond. Later, Luo Jun takes charge of investigating a series of murders and discovers that the killer is none other than Chuwen.
Finally, Chuwen reunites with Luo Jun and Qing'er. As their eyes meet, Qing'er's heart is torn between past promises and present love. How will she navigate her feelings for both men?
