Plot Summary:

In the early years of the Republic of China, renowned martial artist Wu Dingdang and his wife had nine daughters in a row. Fearing that her husband would take another wife in hopes of having a male heir to carry on the family name, Mrs. Wu deceived everyone in the household into believing that their tenth child, who was actually a girl, was a boy. They named this child "Shilang." As a result, Wu Shilang grew up living as a boy, with behavior, speech, and personality resembling that of a male.
