Episode 17
Jun encounters the cohabiting girlfriend of Shi's husband, which makes him realize that Bao will not have a complete family to take care of. Jun prevents Bao from being taken out of the country, while Li pleads with the judge to issue an injunction to prevent Bao from leaving Hong Kong. In episode 18 of Legal Newcomer King 2, Li requests to become Jun's representative lawyer and arranges for Bao to appear in court. Li says "I love you" to Jun in court and promises the judge that she will take care of Bao after marriage; ultimately, the judge awards custody to Jun. However, when Jun and Li inform Tao of this news, they face strong opposition. Tao instructs Ming to exploit legal loopholes to sell substandard real estate developments, and Ming seemingly agrees but secretly records evidence, intending to use it as leverage for his resignation. Yü's cake shop opens, and she specially delivers a cake to her first customer to thank him, which leads her to discover that the person is Ming, and she also sees that Ming is preparing to propose to her. Episode 18
Jun, inspired by Yü's incident, takes Li to the marriage registration office to schedule their wedding. Wei discovers Jin's cold treatment of Na. When Jun confronts his elder brother on the street, Xian overhears them. Xian brings immigration officers to meet Jin and Na, accusing them of a "sham marriage." The day of Jin's trial happens to be the day of Jun and Li's wedding, but Jun decides not to reschedule. In court, Jin apologizes to Na and expresses his genuine love for her. At this moment, Li enters the courtroom in her wedding dress and moves the judge with her speech. Jin and others are acquitted, and Jun and Li hold their wedding in the courtroom. In episode 18a of Legal Rookie King II, during the renovation of Jin's new home, Ming visits and sees Jun's friend Kai being chased by loan sharks, thereby uncovering clues about Yü's injury. When Jun and Li return to their new home, they suddenly find Kai dead there, and the suspect arrested on the spot is none other than Tao!
Episode 19
In order to find evidence, Ming and Jun eventually encounter Yi, who passes by this place every day, and he agrees to testify in court. The loan sharks go to the bar demanding that Jun pay Kai's debt, but this allows Jun to discover that Kai had once used Ming's wristwatch to pay off his debt. Ming uses an excuse to visit Tao's house and finds the phone they used to communicate with Kai in the study. Jun appears and points out that Ming has been blinded by hatred. Tao's phone becomes new evidence, but for the sake of justice, Jun testifies against Ming; Ming is ultimately permanently disbarred, and Tao is acquitted. After being reminded by Liang, Ping decides to become a barrister again, and Han helps her husband achieve his goal by spending all her savings; however, Han eventually discovers that her husband is still not fully recovered, and in pain, she files for divorce.
