In the early 16th century during Korea's Joseon Dynasty, there was a 12-year-old girl named Jang Geum whose lifelong dream was to cook delicious meals that would bring happiness to everyone. One day, while accidentally entering the residence of a high-ranking official where a wedding banquet was being held, she knocked over the noodles prepared for the feast. To make up for her mistake, Jang Geum made noodles using cornmeal. Although the noodles looked unappealing, they were tasted by the visiting Prince, who praised them highly. Due to this fortunate encounter, Jang Geum was given the opportunity to take an exam to enter the royal palace. After entering the palace, she underwent rigorous training and faced numerous challenges, including an assassination attempt on her life. Despite these difficulties, Jang Geum remained optimistic and demonstrated extraordinary resilience and courage in overcoming various obstacles. With the support of many people, she continued to grow and rise in her journey.
