Plot Introduction:
Ke Yuqing: Born into a humble scholarly family in Chaozhou, he should have ranked high in the provincial exams as Jieyuan but was replaced by Linghu Zhiyun due to exam malpractice, resulting in a significant drop in his ranking. Linghu was abducted and his whereabouts unknown after being robbed by Japanese pirates.
