Synopsis:
"The Prosecutor Princess" is a collaboration between writer So Hyun-Kyung and director Jin Hak of last year's hottest hit drama "Brilliant Inheritance". Park Shi Hoo plays Seo In Woo, a character who became a lawyer after graduating from an American university and passing the Korean bar exam. He achieves success by handling cases involving powerful large enterprises. Whenever Ma Hye Ri is in trouble, Seo In Woo always appears to help her out, but his true intentions remain mysterious, leaving viewers guessing if he is secretly a villain or not. Han Jung Soo’s role as the Chief Prosecutor Yoon Se Joon completes the love triangle.
"The Prosecutor Princess" will include many legal terms, but the production team assures viewers that the focus will be on maintaining a bright and lively pace rather than the traditionally heavy courtroom atmosphere.
Kim So Yeon plays the role of Ma Hye Ri, a typical elite prosecutor. She is a carefree person who loves shopping and dislikes hard work. If there are beautiful clothes, she would jump up even from sleep. Despite her lack of responsibility, she passes the bar exam with her excellent memory and concentration. She avoids doing anything troublesome at all costs, making her quite distant from the justice and mission associated with being a prosecutor. As Ma Hye Ri experiences conflicts with picky senior prosecutors, deception, false accusations, and violence, she gradually develops the qualities needed to be a prosecutor.
Park Shi Hoo plays the role of Seo In Woo, her rival in the drama. The prosecutor (Kim So Yeon) and the lawyer (Park Shi Hoo) are rivals in court but develop romantic feelings for each other.
Kim So Yeon portrays a character with an astonishing memory, allowing her to smoothly become a prosecutor. Her character is aloof and dislikes others causing her unnecessary trouble, yet her unconventional personality often gets herself and colleagues into various troubles.
