Plot Introduction:
"Miko, GO!" is a story about love and hope. The story tells of a moving tale of a high school girl Huang Shaoxuan (played by Li Jiaying) who became blind due to an accident and regained her life with the help of a guide dog. The TV script adapted from this story was written by Zheng Fenfen, issued by Taiwan Television Culture Company, and later rewritten into a TV novel by Xia Fei.
A high school girl with a sunny smile and bright eyes was ready to enjoy the world like a bird flying freely, but after an accident, she lost her eyesight and also the will to live.
Shaoxuan's family also fell into despair along with her. Shaoxuan's mother Yue Mei had always worried that Shaoxuan would not feel warm living with her stepfather Huang Ming, so she deliberately favored Shaoxuan, which caused resentment from Shaoxuan's half-sister Shaoying, leading to the estrangement between the two sisters who were once close in their childhood. Now, facing the blindness of Shaoxuan, Yue Mei is filled with self-reproach and near collapse, worsening her relationship with her husband Huang Ming and daughter Shaoying. Moreover, Shaoxuan's biological father Huang Yifeng cannot be reached, making her even more anxious.
Before becoming blind, Shaoxuan's first love had just begun to sprout, but unexpectedly, her first love boyfriend Shi Yuan prepared to immigrate abroad for study. Shi Yuan always felt guilty that Shaoxuan's blindness was related to him, wanting to apologize before leaving the country, but Shaoxuan refused to see him no matter what, thus Shi Yuan left with regret, and Shaoxuan's first love came to an end.
After becoming blind, Shaoxuan was like a completely eclipsed sun, unable to find light; having feet but going nowhere; having hands but needing others' help to get things done. Unable to bear feeling like a useless person, Shaoxuan had thoughts of suicide, but fortunately, under the encouragement of her family and friends, Shaoxuan decided to live on and began learning how to be a blind person.
But how easy is it to be a blind person? Especially when Shaoxuan used to be a very active person. Even though Shaoxuan survived, her self-abandonment still worried everyone. Fortunately, under Yue Mei's efforts, the drifting Huang Yifeng, Shaoxuan's biological father, finally learned about Shaoxuan's blindness and rushed back to her side, giving her strength. More importantly, he gave Shaoxuan the hope to reclaim her life, presenting her with a wonderful birthday gift - a pair of eyes.
