2010 Comedy Film "Yuet Guang Bao He" DVD High Definition Version

The film tells the story of a fool holding a box traveling from the modern era back to the Chibi period. Lau Ching-wai extracted concepts from "A Chinese Odyssey" and re-wrote the story; the new film "Yuet Guang Bao He" may once again employ his "unique martial arts" for a "time-travel" narrative. From the existing list, several of the original main actors such as "Zi Xia" Fiona Chung, "Tie Shan Princess" Pak Sing Choi, and "Blind Man" Joey Wong have reunited in "Yuet Guang Bao He," showing that Director Lau Ching-wai wants to give the audience another dose of "Chinese Odyssey." Due to the film's name being only one character different from "A Chinese Odyssey," it raises suspicion about their "ambiguous" relationship, but lead actor Charlie Yeung denies any resemblance between himself and the "Great Sage" Zhou Xingchi previously portrayed. Why did Lau Ching-wai choose the name "Yuet Guang Bao He"? He explained that "Yuet" means "time travel," and it is a completely different story from "Moonlight宝Box": "Yuet means time travel, this story has nothing to do with Moonlight宝Box."

Although not considered a sequel to "A Chinese Odyssey," the story of this film actually originates from two treasures of the Purple Fairy: the Purple and Blue Sword and the Moonlight宝Box. Fiona Chung reprised her role as the Purple Fairy, though she is just a supporting character; the heroine of this play is Sun Li as the Rose Fairy. The Rose Fairy, admiring the love between Zi Xia and Great Sage, stole the Purple and Blue Sword, hoping to seek a destined love. She helps the male protagonist, the bandit Qing Yi Se (Charlie Yeung), obtain the Moonlight宝Box, leading to a crazy time-travel story. It can be said that these two fairy beauties connect the story of "Yuet Guang Bao He," but under the direction of the old rascal Lau Ching-wai, one becomes infatuated, and the other becomes a "fairy world Xiang Lin Sao," making them a pair of "neurotic fairies."

When the encounters and farewells between Great Sage and Zi Xia became immortal legends, and when the enlightenment of the Monkey King became a myth filled with regrets, the sincere love that was not cherished keeps getting replayed.

This time, the mountain bandit Qing Yi Se pulled out that eternal sword carrying sweetness and sorrow, and the reckless fairy Rose, due to her belief in love, stole the Purple and Blue Sword and descended to the mortal world like a moth drawn to fire, plunging into this familiar love story. Fate may be the greatest, but it is too sudden and unexpected. Being chased persistently by the Rose Fairy, all Qing Yi Se wants is to escape this "bad peach blossom luck." One seeks to escape, the other chases relentlessly, and the Moonlight宝Box opens a door to another time and space at an unexpected moment...

Qing Yi Se and Rose thus begin their wondrous journey of time travel, finding themselves once again on the path to fetch scriptures, the Three Kingdoms battlefield, deep bamboo forests, and even within the internet... Many familiar movie scenes, original settings, and original casts will be presented one by one.

Just like the young Great Sage who was ignorant and self-righteous, they only realize the depth of their feelings when their fate is almost over. And just like Zi Xia from before, the innocence and stubbornness in love always end up being betrayed...
