Plot Introduction:

"Full Moon in Hong Kong" is a romantic short film written and directed by renowned screenwriter Ann Hui.

In the film, Jacky Cheung plays the owner of an electrical shop who is peaceful and kind-hearted but lacks ambition. The female lead, Tang Wei, is a girl who often helps her uncle manage a sanitary ware shop. She has a stubborn personality and dislikes socializing. The story tells of how these two individuals, despite being of marriageable age, are still single. After being set up by their families for a blind date, they realize that they already have feelings for others, resulting in the failure of the blind date but the development of a friendship.

What troubled Jacky Cheung the most during the filming of this movie was the constant need to eat. Whether it was drinking tea or dining at a tea restaurant, his character had to keep eating. There was even one night when he ate over ten bread rolls, making him so full that he almost vomited. But he also expressed gratitude towards Tang Wei, saying, "Tang Wei has helped me a lot. Fortunately, she is very professional, which reduced the number of retakes. Otherwise, I would have definitely thrown up."

Jacky Cheung and Tang Wei filmed a scene where they both walked out of a door at a restaurant in Hong Kong's Wan Chai district.
