3D science fiction movie "How to Train Your Dragon" DVD high-definition version tells the story of a little boy adopting a dragon.

Plot introduction:

A long, long time ago, when the world had not yet been cast into a steel jungle, and when technology had not yet advanced to be invincible, the masters of the Nordic lands were the nomadic Vikings who relied mainly on hunting and fishing for their livelihood. As the sun rose and set, the strong, tall Viking pirates and their wives and children lived happy and comfortable lives. But just as modern people are disturbed by flies, mosquitoes, rats, and bedbugs, the Vikings also had annoying "pests" - dragons. The invasion of those flying, fire-breathing, sharp-toothed giants made the Viking pirates restless. Thus, generation after generation of pirate leaders led their tribes in deadly battles with the flying dragons.

If Hiccup's (Jay Baruchel) father's father's father's father were all dragon-slaying heroes, then he, as the son of the pirate chief (Gerard Butler), certainly did not inherit any of his family's excellent bloodline. This unambitious child was weak and couldn't even crush an ant, finding no trace of pirate spirit within him. Just looking at his frail and short stature, his dream of becoming a great Viking pirate always brought laughter from his companions.

When the fiery beasts attacked the Viking settlement once again, even the blacksmith he helped advised him to stay far away.

Little Hiccup refused to believe in this fate. Without six-pack abs, his clever mind was his most powerful weapon! After creating a dragon trap himself, he secretly took the equipment and prepared to catch a fierce dragon. Strangely enough, his clumsy skills accidentally caught a dragon. And this young dragon, whose teeth hadn't fully grown yet, almost scared him so much that he wet his pants. Gathering his courage and raising his sharp knife, Hiccup steeled his heart to end the life of the dragon bound by ropes in one swift cut! But when he saw the dragon's pleading and desperate eyes, his already wavering courage disappeared instantly. He cut the ropes binding the dragon and cautiously fed it fish, unexpectedly discovering that the dragon race, known to be ferocious and murderous in legends, was actually inherently kind and warm-hearted, and could be tamed. However, the leading chief, his father, didn’t think so; the kind-hearted blacksmith didn’t think so either, nor did the girl he liked, Astrid (America Ferrera). The battle between humans and dragons was about to begin. Could little Hiccup stop this completely unnecessary conflict in time?
