Plot Introduction:
"Heaven Road in Snow Domain" is a 38-episode TV series co-produced by five institutions including the Beijing Television Art Center and Zhongshi International Media Co., Ltd., with an investment of 30 million yuan. It comprehensively reflects the construction process of the Heaven Road.
In 1953, [1] PLA battalion commander Xiao Jianfei, overseas returnee Xie Yuchen, and former Nationalist general He Wenbo joined General Mu Shengzhong in the arduous task of building the Qinghai-Tibet highway and made a vow to construct the Qinghai-Tibet railway. However, they encountered a series of natural disasters and man-made calamities, and the project was shelved. Their sons, in 1973, worked tirelessly with the railway troops to extend the Qinghai-Tibet railway to Golmud. But due to world-class challenges such as permafrost and high-altitude oxygen deficiency, the 60,000-strong road-building army had to halt their advance at the foot of the Kunlun Mountains... Until 2001, Xiao Xiangqian and Xie Shanfeng, who had remained at the Fenghuo Mountain permafrost observation station at an altitude of over 4,000 meters for more than 20 years, exchanged their lives and blood for invaluable scientific research results.
