Based on one of the 100 heroic model figures who have moved China in the 60 years since the founding of New China, Wang Ying, the TV series "Red Leaves of Distant Mountains" (also known as "Wang Ying") will soon be broadcast during CCTV-1's prime time. Directed by Lei Xianhe, the lead role of Wang Ying is played by Golden Rooster Award-winning actress Yan Bingyan.
