This ancient costume mythological TV drama "Tianshi Zhongkui: Blood-colored Mandarin Ducks" tells a story about how Yan Chixia saved Nie Xiaoqian's soul and heavily defeated the "thousand-year tree demon" Heishan Old Demon. After lying low for a hundred years, Heishan Old Demon decided to take revenge. Young man Zhou Fusheng was upright and kind-hearted, making a living by carving with superb skills. He met Lin Xiaodie, a rich young lady, through mandarin duck puppets. Lin Xiaodie was deeply attracted by Zhou Fusheng's spirit that he could not be moved by poverty or subjugated by power, and the two fell in love despite their different social status.
