Synopsis: "IRIS" tells the story of special agents of South Korea's National Security Agency in the midst of rapidly changing global situations. Xianjun, played by Lee Byung-hun, is always getting into dangerous situations due to his work as a National Security Agency (NSS) agent. Xianjun (Lee Byung-hun) and Seunghee (Kim Tae-hee), both working for the National Security Agency, finally get a vacation and travel to Akita, Japan, to enjoy the beautiful snow scenery. Unexpectedly, their sweet date turns into a pursuit battle with lurking assassins. The female assassin played by Kim So-youn was originally supposed to assassinate Xianjun but finds herself irresistibly attracted to him, falling in love with Xianjun, who is on the opposite side as a member of the National Security Agency. The astute agents played by Jung Jun-ho and Kim Seong-woo are also caught up in a suffocating intelligence struggle, while the appearance of the ruthless assassin portrayed by T.O.P adds more tension and complexity to the plot.
