Introduction:

This is the story of Queen Seondeok, the first queen in Korean history who ascended to the throne traditionally reserved for men as a princess and became the 27th ruler of Silla. The greatness of Queen Seondeok does not lie in her being a woman who sat on the throne, but in her discovery and nurturing of Kim Yu-shin and Kim Chunchu, the first individuals in Korean history to achieve unification, making these two people her most capable political right-hand men. Additionally, this drama sets Princess Dae-man (Queen Seondeok) and Princess Cheon-myong as twins, one who sacrificed love for the greater cause, and the other who gave up the throne for her child and love. Through the conflicts, struggles, and pain of these two women, it hopes to make modern women reconsider their own lives.
