Plot of Detective Conan Episode 560:
Shinichi Kudo, a second-year high school student at Teitan High School, is childhood friends with Ran. They have a good relationship. Inheriting his father's exceptional detective skills, he is known as the famous high school detective. He enjoys reading mystery novels and admires Sherlock Holmes greatly. Additionally, his soccer skills are top-notch. Unfortunately, he becomes involved in a transaction with the Black Organization and is forced to ingest the poison APTX4869. However, instead of dying, he transforms into a child and changes his name to Edogawa Conan (a name derived from two detective novel characters). Fortunately, his intelligence remains intact, allowing him to assist Kogoro Mouri in solving cases while searching for clues about the Black Organization. His physical shortcomings are compensated by Dr. Agasa's inventions. After shrinking, he enrolls in Teitan Elementary School's 1st grade B class, where he befriends Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi. Together, they form the Junior Detective League. Regardless of his size, he remains tone-deaf, singing off-key in an exaggerated manner. Those who know his true identity include: Dr. Agasa, his parents (informed by Dr. Agasa), Heiji Hattori (discovered during a joint investigation with Conan), Kaito Kid (discovered during their encounters), and Ai Haibara (discovered while investigating Shinichi on behalf of the Black Organization before shrinking). Due to bathing together and sharing a bed with Ran after shrinking, Conan fears most that Ran discovers his true identity, as her martial arts skills are no laughing matter.
