Plot of Detective Conan Episode 559:
Shinichi Kudo, a second-year student at Teitan High School, is childhood friends with Rachel Moore, and the two have a good relationship. Inheriting his father's superb reasoning ability, he is known as the famous high school detective. He enjoys reading mystery novels and admires Sherlock Holmes greatly. Additionally, his soccer skills are top-notch. Unfortunately, he gets involved in a transaction with the Black Organization and is forced to ingest the poison APTX4869, but he doesn't die; instead, he transforms into a child and changes his name to Jimmy Kudo (taken from the names of two detectives in novels). Fortunately, his intelligence hasn't declined, and he continues to help George Edogawa solve cases to find clues about the Black Organization, while making up for his physical shortcomings with Dr. Agasa's inventions. After shrinking, he attends Teitan Elementary School's Grade 1B class, where he meets Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi, forming the Junior Detective League. Whether before or after shrinking, he remains tone-deaf, singing off-key in an exaggerated manner. Those who know his true identity include: Dr. Agasa, his parents (told by the doctor), Heiji Hattori (discovered on his own while solving cases with Conan), Kaito Kid (discovered on his own during their confrontations), and Ai Haibara (discovered while investigating Shinichi on behalf of the Black Organization before shrinking). Because he bathes with Rachel and sleeps in the same bed after shrinking, Conan fears most that Rachel will discover his true identity, as her karate attacks are no laughing matter.
