Plot Summary:
During the Longxing era of the Southern Song Dynasty, General Zhao Qian leads the people in striving hard to reform and strengthen the army, organizing a cultural performance called "United as One" in order to form an alliance with Mongolia to jointly repel the Jin troops and reclaim Central China. Upon hearing the news, the old wolf ruler of the Jin people sent assassins, Jili Gulu brothers, to infiltrate Lin'an and plan to sneak into the performance venue to assassinate the general. Jili Gulu learned that on the day of the performance, the general would perform with a dancing panda, so they kidnapped the event organizer, pretending to be the镖师 (escort) to prepare to welcome the giant panda.
Wang Laoji, who runs a throwing dart business in Sichuan's Escort Town, was mistakenly identified by a panda pavilion helper as the number one escort master, thus entrusting him with the task of escorting the giant panda. Wang Laoji, being naturally righteous, decided not to fail his mission and deliver the giant panda to Lin'an on time.
