Introduction: "IRIS" tells the story of special agents of South Korea's National Security Agency in a rapidly changing world situation. The agent Hyun-jun (played by Lee Byung-hun) of the National Security Agency (NSS) always gets into dangerous situations due to his work. After much difficulty, Hyun-jun (played by Lee Byung-hun) and Seung-hee (played by Kim Tae-hee), who both work for the National Security Agency, finally get some time off and travel to Akita, Japan, to enjoy the beautiful snow scenery. Unexpectedly, their sweet date turns into a pursuit battle with lurking assassins amidst hidden dangers. The female assassin played by Kim Soo-yeon was originally sent to assassinate Hyun-jun but finds herself irresistibly drawn to him, falling in love with Hyun-jun, an agent of the National Security Agency who stands on the opposite side from her. The astute agents played by Jung Jun-ho and Kim Seung-woo also become entangled in a breath-taking espionage struggle. The appearance of the ruthless assassin portrayed by T.O.P makes the plot even more intense and complicated.
