TVB The Glory of Tang 25th episode plot:
The 2009 TVB October anniversary grand production ancient costume drama series "The Glory of Tang" complete episodes, starring Charmaine Sheh, Karl Mak, and Fiona Sit.
Plot Summary:
Set against the backdrop of the Tang Dynasty court, it tells the story of the power struggles within the four departments of the palace that prepare the queen's attire. Focused on the intrigues and heartaches of women in the imperial harem during the Tang Dynasty, Charmaine Sheh plays the role of a palace maid Liu San Hao, who, with her 'three good' spirit (having good intentions, speaking well, and doing good deeds), rises to prominence amidst the complex palace struggles. She also develops a romantic relationship with co-star Karl Mak, akin to the love story between Dae Jang Geum and Min Jung Ho.
Liu San Hao (played by Charmaine Sheh) and Yao Jin Ling (played by Fiona Sit) are sworn sisters in the palace. As lowly maids, they are often assigned menial tasks. At the time, the harem was controlled by four departments: the Department of Food led by Tan Yan Chang (played by Michelle Ye), the Department of Embroidery led by Zhong Xue Xia (played by Snow Lee), the Department of Decorations led by Hu Su En (played by Sandra Yiu), and the Department of Jewelry led by Ruan Cui Yun (played by Julia Kwan). These four constantly vie for power and position, leading to endless conflicts. Innocent San Hao and Jin Ling are caught up in their schemes and become scapegoats. Despite enduring much hardship, San Hao remains steadfast in her 'three good' principles. However, Jin Ling, after being mistreated, seeks revenge. During her service to Emperor Li Yi (played by Soler Chan), she secretly seduces him and becomes Consort Li, subsequently engaging in power struggles with Consort Xian Wan Bao Xian (played by Emily Li). Meanwhile, San Hao, with her ingenuity and skill, becomes the Chief Palace Maid. When both San Hao and Jin Ling gain influence, their sisterly bond breaks as they both fall for the palace guard Gao Xian Yang (played by Karl Mak). Jin Ling vows to punish the four departments, but San Hao repays their wrongdoings with kindness and strives to protect them. Jin Ling uses this to further persecute San Hao...
