Plot Introduction:
CBS is truly the "Crime Network," with one crime drama after another and spin-off after spin-off, seemingly never-ending. If CBS's flagship show "CSI" can spawn "NY" and "Miami," why can't CBS's other flagship show "NCIS" have its own spin-offs? Here comes "NCIS: Los Angeles."
Anyone who likes "NCIS" will already be familiar with "Los Angeles" - the first two episodes of this series (titled "Legend") were aired as part of the main "NCIS" series this season. "Los Angeles" mainly tells the story of the OSP (Office of Special Projects), a specialized branch of NCIS that deals with secret surveillance tasks, fighting high-tech crimes, capturing the most dangerous criminals, and safeguarding national security.
The members of this team are all highly trained elite agents who use cutting-edge technology and various disguises to secretly carry out their missions. They operate so deeply undercover that sometimes even their families don't know their true identities. To complete their missions, they risk their personal safety every day, living on the edge between life and death.
Agent G. Callen (played by Chris O'Donnell) is a "chameleon." In order to infiltrate criminal organizations, he can transform himself into any "needed" image. His partner, Agent Sam Hanna (played by LL COOL J), is a former Navy SEAL who has undergone the toughest combat tests in Afghanistan and Iraq. Hanna is also an expert in surveillance, skilled in using various advanced devices. When field agents need help, he always provides critical intelligence at the right time that can mean life or death. Callen and Hanna's direct superior is OSP Office Director Lara Macy (played by Louise Lombard), who is responsible for planning, allocating, and monitoring missions, and making key decisions when necessary. Agent Kensi Lo (played by Daniela Ruah) is assigned to assist the OSP in its operations. She is the daughter of a former Marine, intelligent, and passionate. Clinical psychologist Nate Getz (played by Peter Cambor) serves as the group's "think tank," easily breaking through anyone's psychological defenses...
