Plot Overview:
Captain Liu Zhijun of the Security Bureau's Reconnaissance Team, while leading his team in a sting operation against a spy codenamed "Leopard," unexpectedly discovers that what the other party intends to smuggle out are the design plans for the "Starcom Six" satellite. The Confidentiality Bureau receives instructions from the central authorities to cooperate with the Security Bureau and Public Security Bureau to form a special inspection team, with Wu Mei, Director of the Supervision Department of the Confidentiality Bureau, serving as the team leader. The inspection team conducts an investigation into the satellite research institution 322 Institute, but their work encounters numerous obstacles with little progress. Meanwhile, foreign spy organizations launch attacks on 322 Institute's network. With the help of Shen Weiguo and his son, the beleaguered inspection team successfully uncovers the spy Fang Yao hidden within the 322 Institute. Wu Mei originally intended to follow the leads to uncover the spy organization's behind-the-scenes commander "Silver Fox," but instead falls into "Silver Fox's" trap. Fang Yao is killed by the assassin "Butterfly," and the clues suddenly break off.
