These three women, with different feelings, joined the revolutionary army. In the play, they were inspired by the protagonist Zhou Yunbiao to develop sincere love for him. Zeng Li also turned down other offers for this drama, "mainly because I found this series very interesting, and the space for character development made me very excited."
