"Snail House" tells people's desire and helplessness for houses in today's skyrocketing housing prices, and presents the various states of modern people's life. Unlike "Double-sided Glue" which singlely tells the relationship between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law in an independent small family, "Snail House" is richer in plot and character relationship, and more social hotspot issues are integrated. Although the play is still filmed in Shanghai, it breaks through the regional restrictions, shows the mentality of all levels of society including the migrant workers, local people, successful persons, housewives, etc., and tells the confusion and bewilderment faced by everyone in the process of striving for his or her own 'Snail House'.
