Plot introduction:
Although they have never met, they learn a lot about each other through Arun and secretly develop an interest in one another.
On the other hand, Shruti, an intern doctor under Dr. Shankar, falls in love with unemployed youth Aakash. However, Shruti's mother wants to fulfill her father’s wish before his accidental coma, by marrying her off to her childhood playmate Rahul. At the last moment of the wedding, Rahul learns that Shruti loves Aakash, so he cancels the wedding.
Arun wants to settle his sister's life because their parents have already passed away, and it is his responsibility. So he chooses a man named Neeraj for his sister and sets the wedding date. However, on the day of the wedding, Neeraj falls ill and is diagnosed with late-stage leukemia, so he chooses to leave. Dr. Shankar comes to attend the wedding, and finally confesses to Astha and decides to marry her.
On the day of Shruti and Astha's weddings, Aakash has to go home to take care of his sick father. After his father recovers, his parents force him to marry Nupur, a woman they have chosen for him. Shankar and Aakash's weddings are on the same day, and coincidentally, they board the same train back to Mumbai. When the train passes over a bridge, an accident occurs. Both Shankar and Aakash survive, and they both search for their respective brides. Shankar finds Nupur's body, mistaking it for Astha as the body is severely disfigured and unrecognizable. He claims the body and performs the marriage vows. Meanwhile, Aakash finds Astha who is unconscious but still breathing, mistaking her for his own wife due to her red bridal attire, and takes her to the nearest hospital. After several hours of emergency treatment, Astha gradually regains consciousness but at the cost of her memory. Shruti meets her superior Shankar while participating in a medical rescue team and tells him that she will do everything in her power to find Astha. Can Shankar find his beloved Astha? Will amnesiac Astha spark a new connection with Aakash, and how will their story continue? In the end, can everyone find their own love and happiness?
