Sankar is a doctor at a large hospital in Mumbai, and Asha is the younger sister of his best university friend, Alo. Although the two have never met, they learned a lot about each other through Alo and quietly developed an interest in one another.
On the other hand, Shweta, an intern doctor under Sankar, is in love with Akash, an unemployed young man. Shweta's mother wants her to marry Rahul, a childhood playmate, to fulfill the wish of her father, who has been in a coma since an accident. At the last moment of the wedding, Rahul learns that Shweta loves Akash, so he calls off the wedding.
