Synopsis:
This is a story about the transformation of the world's most virtuous housewife into the most terrifying seductress. The drama unfolds as a woman betrayed by deceit and conspiracy experiences her first death and becomes a goddess of vengeance. Kind-hearted housewife Eun-joo has her husband stolen away by her best friend. To take revenge, she transforms herself into another woman who re-tempts her ex-husband, ultimately destroying his new family.

Zhang Ruixi as Gu Eun-joo
33 years old, fashion designer, and daughter-in-law of a real estate tycoon.
Highly responsible, she dreams of becoming a successful fashion designer. She is filial to her parents and willing to sacrifice for her family.
A graduate of a prestigious university's fashion design program, she won a major award in the Q Fashion Shopping Network design competition. Just as she was taking steps toward success, she was sexually assaulted by Cho Bin and became pregnant, so she gave up the opportunity to study abroad in Paris.

Daughter of an old family friend of Gu Yeong-su, the same age as Eun-joo. Gu Yeong-su and Ae-ri's father came to Seoul together and became neighbors. Later, after Ae-ri's father passed away and her mother remarried, Gu Yeong-su raised her.
Helping with household chores at Gu Yeong-su's place, she learned to read people's expressions due to living in others' homes since childhood. She knew how to win people's favor and had a strong desire for success. She gained the love of Kang Jae, whom she grew up with, and was regarded as a future daughter-in-law by the Gu couple.
She treated Eun-joo's parents like her own and was as close as a sister to Eun-joo, but deep down, she was a frightening woman dreaming of entering high society. Dissatisfied with the poor Kang Jae, she set her sights on Cho-bin as a way out of poverty.
