According to TBS Television news, Arisa Morimoto will star in the station's new drama after 12 years, performing a May-December romance with Toru Nakai. The new drama will premiere on October 16th and is temporarily titled "Single Love Song". Morimoto will play an unmarried teacher of great talent and beauty at a prestigious girls' school. On the other hand, Toru Nakai will play her colleague who is 10 years younger than her, as they fall in love and start living together.
This drama humorously portrays this "May-December romance". It was created by Masaya Ozaki, who wrote "The Ghost Bride Diary" and "The Man Who Can't Marry". How two people with a 10-year age gap can overcome differences in values, thoughts, positions, and income to be together is one of the highlights of the show.
Morimoto plays Akiyama Satomi, who is excellent in her career and can accomplish anything. However, in her private life, she is completely incapable of housework.
