According to the message from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, during the grand celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China ten years ago, China carried out its first high-definition digital TV broadcast. This meant that for the first time, audiences across the country would have the opportunity to watch the live TV broadcast of the National Day military parade in high definition.
Preparations for the High-Definition Live Broadcast of the National Day Military Parade Are Ready
On September 29th, among the busy crowd on Tiananmen Tower, the technical team responsible for this high-definition broadcast was particularly eye-catching. Before the last rehearsal of the National Day celebration, they successfully completed the task of installing a batch of national standard high-definition TVs on Tiananmen Tower.
This batch of new flat-panel TVs all adopted the core chip of China's digital TV national standard designed by Shanghai High Definition. The key demodulation device built inside was designed by Shanghai High Definition Company. These color TVs ensured that the central leadership and the staff of the National Day celebration could see the high-definition live broadcast signal of CCTV while working under pressure. Wang Xiaojie, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, who was responsible for this task, and the leaders of the Tiananmen Review Platform Management Office gave full recognition after checking the site.
First Adoption of the Digital TV National Standard
This batch of new TVs on Tiananmen Tower embodies the hard work of many people. It adopted China's independently formulated digital TV national standard, the ground digital TV coverage network designed and constructed by China itself, the core chips independently designed and produced by Chinese enterprises, and the transmission module solution of digital TV integrated machines designed by Chinese engineers, ensuring the smooth progress of the live broadcast of the National Day military parade.
